With Aikidomayland's on vacation, and DSLR instructions (with me tagging along for moral support mostly) I haven't been posting often. I have been taking some fantastic photos myself, but haven't really had the sit down time to sift through them

Thanks! Now, I have to get a clearer shot of the Striated Pardalote. They also prefer to come to the birdbath in the afternoon and I have yet to get a clean photo.

Ha! I thought it was either a Yellow or a Brown Honeyeater. *feels validated*

Yellow Honeyeaters are a northern Queensland species though. ;)

I saw the yellow patches on the wings and thought, yeah, probably a BHE. Upon enlarging the photo though you can see the yellow patches behind the eyes really well as well.
