The weather is lousy, and I'm all cold and wet. And yes, after teaching 5th graders for 6 hours and then supervising their getting on the bus for half an hour, I do tend to hate kids for a while. (Sad, but true.)
On Monday, my headmaster is coming to watch me teach. This scares me. It makes me realise how few lessons I have prepared properly in the last 3 months. Okay, I'm good at being spontaneous, but as for stating my didactical aims in detail and in appropriate language - blach. Also, I didn't know before my last lesson that he'd be coming, otherwise I would have done it differently - now all I have to teach is left-overs. Worst of all, my class is absolutely not fun to teach at the moment. I told them to behave if they want to keep me as their tutor. I don't know how badly I'd have to mess up to be removed from the school, but the option must be there, otherwise there would be no point in him coming to watch, would there?
Seems we might be finally getting DSL now. The data and password - or at least some data and password - have arrived. *too scared to tackle it on my own*
Tonight, we are going to the opening of the exhibition. I'm looking forward to it, even though it's bound to be full. Tomorrow, we are supposed to do larp in S. Gee, I hope the weather will improve till then.
I should go and work out now, only it's still raining and I'm still wet from coming home from the station.
