1) I added someone I don't like, who I have never liked, to my facebook friends merely so I could see his profile. I've despised this guy since sixth grade and haven't seen him in 12 years, but when I saw his name on my friend news feed page, I couldn't help myself. I had this sick need to find out what he was up to. I felt weirdly vindicated to discover that he's a Republican and works for Capital One. Like I had a finely-tuned asshole detector even at the age of 12.
2) Softball's back on, forreals this time. We've paid the city league fees and all. First game a week from Friday. I'll keep y'all apprised of our performance. I'm sore from two trips to the batting cages this weekend.
3) I joined a March Madness bracket pool and have moved up from last place to second-to-last place. My most brag-worthy pick was San Diego over UConn in the first round. But I also had Duke in the Final 4 so probably no winner-take-all for me.
4) The weather has been so amazing here lately. If ever I missed Michigan, I certainly no longer do.
5) Is anyone else watching American Idol this season? I don't think he'll win, but darn that Jason Castro is just cute as a button.
6) The host of my regular poker game is going to be out of town this week, so I may have poker at my place Thursday night. We shall see.
7) I forgot it was Easter this weekend until I saw Ben Hur was on TV Saturday night. Work yesterday was all about answering the ten million phone calls to assure customers that, yes, we were open regular hours despite the holiday.
8) I didn't even make deviled eggs.
9) I bought some dresses from American Apparel and they're fun and will be nice and cool for summer, but they're a little short. Such is the risk we run with online retailers. Which is to say, if I tried them on in the store I might not have bought them, but once they arrived they fit well enough that I wasn't willing to deal with the hassle of a return.
