Got official notice that I didn't get the job today. Also, I managed to lose a $20 bill.
Other than that, it was a pretty good day.
In other news, I finally got a bus pass and I'm so glad that I did. On Monday I took the bus to visit a friend on the other side of town, and I got to watch a new episode of Girlfriends-- my first this season. Since I'm not up to speed, it was especially jarring for me when the opening credits rolled and there was no Jill Marie Jones. I mean, I knew to expect it (Tracee Ellis Ross talks about her leaving the cast in the Fall issue of Vibe Vixen), but I still don't know how the storyline played out, haivng missed crucial episodes-- what did they do with Toni Childs? I figure this is a longshot, but do any of y'all know? I don't have the energy to try to find out on my own. I wish they'd just put the damn show on DVD already.
