Visual imagery.

I feel like I've been picking up more on visual imagery lately.

Some of that is from things a friend is saying that are...leading me to visualize a sort of city within the mind and finding analogies for things that fit within the framework of that city.

Today for instance, I made a reference to a light at the end of the tunnel.

Later I got to thinking, what if I was the light at the end of that tunnel? What if the light I had wasn't something traditional like a flashlight, a lantern, or an actual torch the flames of which would flicker against the walls of the darkened tunnel but what if it was less conventional.

I didn't even think of a mobile phone.

My mind went straight to the glow of the screen of a laptop. (Such as the one I'm on now.)

Then it thought about plugging the laptop in to a power outlet in the tunnel. Was there a power outlet in the tunnel?

If I was a light for someone in what could be an otherwise bleak tunnel I couldn't let the laptop battery just die when the charge ran out.

I decided there might be a need for a long extension cord.

It was around that time I decided that would be a good image to draw.

Maybe I can work a song into the picture? Hmm.

I still need to go back and work on Untitled 2 and finish drawing that.

I'll have to copy some data over to the new laptop so I can view the original image on it and finish the drawing that way. That might help. There is some other data I want to copy over as well like webdesign stuff.

I am really sick of being a human ATM at work. I hope tomorrow is better.

So I will look forward to drawing.

And cupcakes...but I might pass on all the sugary sweetness.
