They give me hurt looks whenever I keep them from going outside, too--either because of cars, or more fleas. Ah, cats....

I've been lucky so far... either the product I use on her (that sticky stuff you apply on the back of the neck once a month) works really well, or there aren't any fleas in the area, because she's never had any, despite the fact that there are a couple of strays that use my balcony as a lounging point.
But I've heard it can be pretty hard to erradicate a flea infestation... good luck with that, and I hope your kitties don't take the forced isolation too hard...

Why having her claws trimmed and swallowing pills alright, but getting baths, going to the vet or having her teeth brushed not? I'll never understand cats...

The stuff totally didn't work. It's gotten better since I did 1500 loads of laundry and got some flea powder and spray, but I'm afraid I may have to flea bomb the house. Icky little parasites.
Pom and Taddeus are still all over the house, I'm just really reluctant to cuddle them.

I've heard that, too. Doesn't stop the buggers. Thankfully I can go get some flea-stuff that I know will work on Monday, and in the meantime I have my vacuum cleaner.
