Darn sneaky hair-stylists.

My usual hair-stylist moved, and I have no idea where. When I went today to get a long-delayed hair-cut, there was suddenly a grocer's where his hair salon used to be. No warning, no "we’ve moved!" sign anywhere. So what was I to do?
I ended up going to a place where I'd had a hair-cut a couple of years ago, and where I remember being considerably ( Read more... )

Oh, I sympathize! You just can't win with those places. My last hair cut was a nightmare. e_e The place I've been a regular at keeps raising their prices and I'm only satisfied with the work they do half the time... I think I have to find somewhere new.

I miss my old hair-stylist. He was wonderful! He always gave me the exact hair cut that I asked for (and actually made it look good), and he never took liberties with the scissors... I was always satisfied with his work. Why did he have to move? and why couldn't he have warned his regulars first? >_<

Why is it so hard to find a good one, I wonder?

Somehow, I think they coordinate this sort of thing. Hairstylists are evil. xD

That happened to me when I was donating my hair, I had to get it really short but I have a massive cowlick on the back of my head (!!) and the lady cut it too short... BUT ONLY WHERE THE COWLICK WAS. Dx

Perhaps you should bring a picture of how you want it done? Some people don't get it if you just describe it.

Ouch. Yeah, I can imagine how that would be infuriating.
The worst thing is that it's generally too late to complain, and when they're still cutting your hair, it's still better not to get them angry... since, you know, they have a very sharp pointy thing in their hands. :P

bringing a picture?
...that might actually work. Why didn't I think of it before? O_o
