Book pickup

I just came back to my apartment from being at home for a week, and while I was there I scoured the bookshelves for things I haven't read. Then when I came back we stopped at a re-use place that sells a bunch of random stuff for really cheap (like $1 books or something) and I grabbed a few more (I hope I actually read these...).
This is what I ended up picking up:
  1. The Wild Child by Jeffery Moussaieff Masson
  2. Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote
  3. My Name is Red by Orhan Pamuk (my sister really likes this so..)
  4. On the Road by Jack Kerouac
  5. Nausea by Jean-Paul Sartre
  6. The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway
  7. Rollerball by William Harrison
  8. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum (lol!)
  9. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne
  10. The Best Science Fiction of the Year #3 by Terry Carr (haha, I think the year was 1974..)
I think this whole book thing I'm into right now is way too ambitious and I find myself starting and not finishing way too many books. I'll probably end up picking up one of the shorter ones out of the list and starting them...
hopefully they actually get finished..

While we were there I also dug through the VHS tapes and CDs and found Reservoir Dogs, Scarface (I've been meaning to see this for ages), and Batman (the old one with Jack Nicholson). Gonna put that small tv with a tape player to use soon. In the CDs I found 2 albums by The Roots (Phrenology & Things Fall Apart). :D Way happy about those.

Also... I found an old tarot card deck for really cheap (Aquarian deck?) which has really great illustrations (I think I've always really liked card illustrations). :D
I was looking into how to read them and tried a few ways, but it seems really complicated.. haha, I don't think I'm cut out for doing it. But I do really enjoy looking at them..
