Domesticity, thy name is not Anya
Some of the things that really bother me about cleaning my house are as follows.
How is it that so much hair gets caught up in the shower drain and vacuum cleaner, and I still have hair on my head? Because it's not like i have really long hair, it just brushes my shoulders.
I want to strip some of the paint on the woodwork in my home. The closet doors are a really great red wood finish inside and I want the outside to match.
Why is it that the stove will get dirty when i don''t cook? I unloaded some groceries on it, so after putting stuff away, there was some crap there. This was on a day when i had cornflakes for dinner.
Some days I just can't be bothered to cook, either due to the hot weather or laziness. Salads* don't count as cooking due to ease of preparation. Cooking requires use of stove or oven.
And I need to get a hold of a cookbook that has recipes that make only two portions as I'm only cooking for me, and don't want to deal with leftovers any more that i have to.
Laundry doesn't bother me much except that when i line -dry sometimes linens and clothes will get crunchy and have to be shaken out. I''m not sure how to fix this one.
*No potato salad, no macaroni salad, no tuna salad, and no egg salad. Fucking hate for fucking mayonnaise/miracle whip, it's completely nasty, vile and disgusting.
