Swearing at the baby
No, seriously, we are a bunch of swearing motherfuckers here at la Chateau. We have been trying lately to not swear so much in her general direction but it is not really working out for us.
Me, personally, i never met a new curse word i did not like. And you know I've picked up a few since registering at SDMB. The easiest way(for me) is to substitute British slang, or i can snarl any word in such a way that it may as well be a curse word.
Jen has an easier time of it than Jeff, and i don't know why, i've noticed that when he consciously tries, he swears more.
I've also been reaching out my hand and picking up the kid by the back of her onesie, when she goes somewhere she ought not be, but it makes her laugh too much to be really effective.
You know when you take something away from a kid, and your hand moves fast enough to make a distinct snatching sound, well that makes Madison laugh too, especially when used with this line, "My hand is quicker than your eye."
