Many social distractions abound today, so you will have to work extra hard to keep your eye on the ball and avoid getting carried away in unproductive or self-indulgent ways. In order to stay focused, you need to think about your end goal. Visualize where you want to be (or who you want to be there with) and toss out anything in your life that can't make that happen. Too few people have the perseverance to stick with something, but luckily you're one of them!
I wonder which is the distraction, my thesis-like special project or our business planning?? Both are fruitful, yes?
