Moments make things worth it.

It's easy to say that I feel so discouraged with the way work has backlogged on me. It seems that every day, I have a list of things to do and at the end of the day, I'd be lucky if I get at least two of those items finished because of the other things that get thrown my way while I am working.

But then there are moments like at the Awards Night tonight. After the program was over, parents of two students from my class were talking. One of them said that I've done so much for the program and the other said, where have I been all these years?

It encourages me especially at a time when I feel like I just want to the summer to come already because I am so tired. My doctor told me that she can't tell me not to work but that I should rest. I'm trying not to bring work home but sometimes I have a relapse, like last night. If I hadn't done it, it would have just added to the stuff I'm already behind on.

Yet, I'm taking 6 credit hours this summer to obtain an advanced professional certificate. However, after that...

Five weeks of vacation with my family! Yes!!!

This is a shoutout to all my friends who are enjoying Phoenix Rising, especially Sabs and Cle. Sorry I really couldn't make it, I had to pay for my summer school today so even my back-up plan of picking up a last minute flight this weekend is totally out of the question. Sabs, remember how much tickets were when I was checking with you? Triple that amount --- that's how much my pockets are to let.
