In other news...
Being cute got me some free ice cream today from my favorite Naval Officer. He's a cutie and a real gem of a friend. He's also an example of sexy monogamy --- he's been married for 20-odd years but he's aging well. Probably the first guy I've seen who looked like he was in his early 30s instead of whatever age he is now.
I spoke with Carole tonight. I miss that girl, I really do. Also Justin because he's a great friend to have when I'm sick or about to be. Johanna is amazing for being able to cover up the fact that she was anti-social (yes, Jojo, I doubt it if anyone can tell that you are one).
I do need a more regular hang out buddy, though. I miss Shane. I could always count on him for just hanging out or for spur-of-the-moment stuff, he was ever so dependable with those. If only he didn't take a picture of a reindeer coming out my arse when I was trying to sleep off some tipsy-ness during the surprise going-away party I threw for him. If only he wasn't interested in me. And if only he hadn't been relocated to the Okies in some forsaken air force base.
