"I'm not wreaking pain and disaster anymore!" She sighs. "Just because I made friends with the god of vengeance does not mean I'm going back to my evil ways."

A brilliant smile, "But I am learning to have fun. And I got into college!"

"Good, good." He wasn't suggesting she's doing evil now, just that whatever you do, you should enjoy it.

"College," she says again with a bright smile. Evil is one thing. She really couldn't care less. "It's going to be so much fun. And a challenge. And...make me a better businesswoman so I can up our profits even more. Ethan says I never cease to amaze him. Isn't that nice?"

"Very nice of him," he agrees. Ethan is very nice. Better keep an eye on him.

"Ethan can be wonderful sometimes." When he's not ripping your heart out. "Did you like Europe?"

I just returned not long ago from a week in Africa."

"Africa?" Eyes bright, she perches somewhere to listen. "I used to go there to curse people. Lots of angry women."

He shrugs. "I assume there are angry women everywhere. They have reasons to be angry.

I wanted to ask you, how come your vengeance only worked for women? Are there not enough angry men?" Not that he's so much into equal rights. Just wondering.

"Oh, my vengeance worked for men. I just..." A shrug. "Hated men. And didn't want to help them. Other demons did that. Methos was the only exception, and that was because...well...Byron. The chance to curse that womanizing bastard for all eternity? Priceless."
