Yesterday was a rather good day for me; I went from school to FIU then home and to work.
Nothing big happened at school, so I'll skip the hours of boredom.
I went to FIU to see Sharly, someone I met my first semester and hadn't seen for a while (the one in my science class for those that may remember). I met up with Oscar and Anne-Marie while I was there. We had talks about how to remove a human tongue, how to shoot lightning at people and Avatar: The Last Air Bender (great show, lot's of Kung-Fu) Janette showed up before I left and I saw her for a bit.

I came home and talked to Gigi on the phone before leaving for work. Talking to Gigi is always worth noting.

After that I went off to work to sell cameras. Gigi showed up and proved that she does look good in anything, including a sweatshirt that doesn't belong to her. That made my day good, even if my day had sucked to that point it would have become a good day just for that.
I helped a lot of people find what it is they wanted. People come in not really knowing what they want, just that it needs to take pictures, and I get to show them what we have and what works for them. I really like helping people.

I worked until 10 when my schedule ended at 9, but that was fine. My last customer decided to not open a new Sony Camera he had just bought because he heard better about the Kodak. At one point he was ready to buy $930 camera, the same model one of the professional photographers I've done shots with uses. He asked if I thought he was being crazy and I honestly told him that for taking pictures of his kids on a vacation it was overkill. He bought the Kodak, it's like Linda's, and I'm sure he'll be happy and may become a return customer.

I found a camera that I really like. The mark up on it is a little over 25%, but my markup is only 5%. That means that if something cost Best Buy $100.00 a customer will pay $125.00 and I only pay $100.00
Yeah, my paychecks are going into my car and then back into Best Buy.

In other news Mimi's mom wants to sell the 240sx. I can get the money together to buy it soon if I want to. It's not exactly the model I want, but it is a manual transmission Rear Wheel Drive car with a nice little engine in it.
We know that if I buy a 240sx I'll drop a turbocharged engine in in for the cost of another 240sx. So if I do buy Mimi's (if she's forced to sell it) I'll probably get it working first and decide where to go from there.
I love the luxury and power of my current car, but it's front wheel drive and huge.
BMW's are Rear Wheel Drive, but you can't spin the tires on the '04 325i (Sport package mind you) and the car looses it fun much quicker than the Riviera, and I doubt anything will top the 240sx in my book.

So yeah that's it: School, to another School, to home and talking to Gigi, to work and seeing Gigi.
Yep, Monday was good.
