...what time is it?
today was the beginning of a new semester, my second at ucf. for those that know about the situation with the english teacher from last semester...it has officially caused me to lose a scholarship, one of three. for those that dont know what im talking about but wanna know about it you can call me sometime-ill give you a wonderful lil earful...but im not gonna give the disertation on here. lol. at least this is starting all over, and im actually taking a class or two that im interested in. here are the classes im taking this semester: Microeconomics, Psychology (i love analyzing ppl so im gonna enjoy the class hopefully), english (AGAIN!!!!! that whoreable teacher), computer science (no brainer), and the Art of Cinema (finally a class within my field!!! yey)
i arranged it so i have fridays off so that roks. and it looks like i may have found a roomy. my friend byron from bcm at ucf wants to get an apartment or townhouse...problem is he wants to do it really soon and i dont got the moola.
my car broke down...actually it literally fried...the entire electrical system died-while i was driving...but amazingly-and to the shock and awe (no pun intended) of my mechanic...it didnt stop running on the road. without a distributer or battery there is nothing to charge the spark plugs...but somehow i got home THANK GOD...it was freakin 3 am and i was 45 min from home. anyways i had to spend today without a car...once you have had one you cannot be without it-trust me here...no matter how crappy (cough* cough* Gladice) the car is-if it runs you cannot lose it even for a day! i had to borrow my moms car in the morning after dropping her and my sis off at tfa to go to ucf, and then came back and slept there until school got out. i did find some time to talk to some of my old teachers...DW,Toens, Bito, and Cav so that was cool. i also got to see some of my peeps that i hadnt seen in foreva. Highschool doesn’t change…people dating, people getting jealous, friends giving each other the silent treatment…maturity is more rare than a decently tasting meal at school.
I can say now that I have begun thinking about losing of my closest friends. He was accepted by the US Naval Academy and dreams of seal-dom. I have never met anyone more qualified for such a task, and know that with God’s help he will certainly succeed. We have spent more time together recently than with our own families haha. But soon he will be off to learn how to protect this great country. Loyalty is the most infrequent characterization in most the people ive met, if you find it hold onto it and become truly loyal yourself. For those that know CJ you know that he is probably the most loyal person you know, hes human don’t get me wrong, but I can honestly say that I trust my life with him, and I know that he is able to do the same with me. try to think of any one time you have heard cj bash someone behind their back, even when they were doing just that...oh yea and i still have yet to talk to someone who knows what they believe so strongly and yet is willing to listen to anyonw. Yall know that me and CJ are two of the most different people personality wise, but because we have a true trust because of our loyalty we are able to fall back on that when we disagree.
CJ, though I will miss you dearly, there is no other person on this planet I would rather have my back, in civilian life or military. We should both get medals for “normalizing” Chris haha. Oh yeah, and while your fighting so that Michael Moore can make a mockery of this great country and win “People’s Choice for Best Film”, remember there are a few of us out here that do cherish what you are fighting for. i will miss the great debates at 5 am lol.
Anyways, I hate it when these things get deep and emotional…it isn’t usually a good place for it, but whateva, I made an exception this time.
You peoples have a great second semester, Godspeed to us all. Remember Im ALWAYS available on my cell.
I hope all your “seasonal celebrations” went really really well. Oh yeah…and don’t forget we ALL have next Monday off -YEAH BABY!
