You may remember me telling you about the lightning strike in August? The guys finally scheduled the tree removal for this weekend. Got a little behind schedule when the bucket truck broke down. After tinkering around and replacing a starter, the tree guys managed to top the dying oak right as the sun was setting. My Sunday has been filled with the sounds of chain saws. Now there's an unimaginable amount of sunlight hitting the front of the house. Bob has plans for roses galore. Monday I'll miss the wood chipper. *sigh* But I'll miss that tree.
