We had one of our friend's from the course over tonight to have dinner and we shot the shit and talked about feelings, the course and everything all else for a couple of hours. She is one of the girls who happens to live with two of the men on the course as roomies and quite appreciated coming to be with us for a while, just as we like to visit her and her men-folk as we like to say. it was really nice because we had all stayed in all weekend. i was getting over being sick and working on all my school work. somehow we all (not planned) ended up being nearly housebound the whole time. finally we went out on sunday evening to go to our favorite gelateria and saw fulvio the ice cream man, who is always happy to practice his english with us or his german with J.

birthday plans for thursday: a cake, some candles, singing and eating with friends.
