The movie Jumper with Samuel L. Jackson and Hayden Christiansen was just terrible. I spent most of it debating whether or not to walk out. I only watched it to kill time and in the end it didn't just kill the time, it actually mutilated and peed on it. It's unfortunate too because the movie did have what could potentially have been a cool premise: that there are people who can teleport to any place they have ever been or have a picture of and that there are people out to get them. It was hackneyed, trite, the characters shallow and unbelievable, the "hero" vapid and the villain ridiculous. The love interest girl no more captivating than a 4 day old rice krispie treat, not that I blame her. there is no explanation of how the people come to be able to do the teleportation, or really why the people that are after them care so much. just silly. oh well.
Anyways, just don't go.
