pete and the pi shirt
this just totally made my day. i am in such a good mood right now.
(the story, in case you don't get it: at the end of junior year, my dad made me the high tech pi shirt you've all seen me wearing. when pete motolla saw it during lunch that day, he got even more excited about it than he usually gets about anything remotely geeky. my dad offered to make another one for someone and i realized that pete's birthday and graduation were both coming up, so i had my dad make one with motolla on the back. when i gave pete the shirt the day after his birthday (it wasn't ready on his birthday), he loved it, of course. in the card i wrote, i said that the conditions for giving him the shirt were that he had to give me credit if anyone asked where he got in and that he had to write about it on ehl. he never did, and i eventually forgot about it. now it's there though, and that is completely awesome.)
