Saturday was the PWA event in Goderich Ont. I shared the reffing duties with JC so my night wasn't as rough as it could have been. My night started off with Geza Kalman Jr vs Chris Laplante. This was a very good match and Chris nearly pulled out the victory, but was stopped by the Geza Bomb. After that, I had the pleasure of dodging chairs, chains, and various other weapons of destruction when Buck 10 defended his Pure Violence Title against Warhed and Pimp Daddy Flexx. I managed to escape relativily unharmed, but unfortunately PD Flex and Warhed can't say the same. Bucky pulled out the victory after a Tornado DDT onto a pile of chairs. The next match was The Outlaw Scott Chase vs Elian Habenero. Good Ol Jayson C drew this match which was fortunate for me, because when Chase lost the bout, he took it out on JC. So with JC out of commision, it was up to yours truly to officiate the main events of the evening. The semi-main say Internet Champion Jessy Jones vs NWA-TNA's own, "Hotshot" Johnny Devine. This was a very entertaining match and I had the best seat in the house. Unfortunately Precise Paul Wright kept trying to interfere. Devine hit his moonsault and pinned Jessy for the win. After the match I found a chain in Devine's knee brace. This match left a bad taste in my mouth....I was forced to reverse my decision and award Jessy the Title, but I don't know....I think something fishy happened. The main event saw The Wildboys take on Eddie O. and Reggie Marley from the Sports Generation. It was a very competitive match and everything was going pretty well until I caught an elbow to the head and hit the ground hard. I have no idea how long I was out. When I woke up, Reggie had Jeff down and I made the 3 count. I heard someone in the crowd say something about a masked man....anyway, check out the PWA website (in my links section to the left) for full results.
PWA will be returning to Cambridge on October 15th. Full details are available on their messageboard. The last PWA show in Cambridge was excellent so I look forward to the 15th. I'm also looking forward to October when MEW presents "Halloween Horror" from Ingersoll. I don't have the details on this show yet, but rumours are flying about something big at this show.
