Writing plan
You might already know that I signed up for scifibigbang. The challenge is to write at least a story of 20k words. All in all I have five months but the story must be beta read (and fixed, of course). So I will save the last month for beta and rewrites.
20K in 16 weeks results in a weekly word count goal of 1.213 words. I won't break it up in daily goals because I know I won't manage to write each day.
