Sunny Side Up - Looking at the brighter side

My least-favorite season - Winter!

It's gray, it's smoky, it's misty, it's dull, it's cold, it's solitary, and it's here. Because my dislike does not stop it from appearing year after another, let me count the good things about my least-favorite season.

-Long-sleeved, turtleneck pullovers
-Breath turning into smoke every time I open my mouth
-Peanuts in their shells
-Piping hot cup of coffee on a foggy day
-Cold hands covering a cup of tea I am never going to drink
-Cold hands slipped into a pair of warm ones
-Hope of a warm and sunny tomorrow

A disappointed fan

I know I am jumping topics, but I cannot get this out of my head. It took me 60 issues of Ultimate Spider-Man to start liking Gwen Stacy. And then, Bendis decided to kill her in the 62nd issue! To make matters worse, I cannot get my hands on the next issue.

On the positive side, I have an unbelievable number of comics ready to be read.

-Batman
-Catwoman
-Ultimate X-Men
-Astonishing X-Men
-Superman - Batman
-Watchmen
-Sandman
-Sin City
-Alias
-100-Bullets
-Transmetropolitan
-Hellboy
-Identity Crisis
-Marvel
-Preacher

The missed movies

I have still not seen 'The Edge of Reason'. Can you believe it? I know the reviews are not that great but I want to watch the movie and make up my own mind. They are not playing it at many cinemas and definitely not on the ones easily accessible to moi. Does not seem that I would be able to catch it on the big screen.

However, my DVD-shopping trip is due and I will have all the time in the world starting Thursday. I am making a list of movies I have to get. Care to suggest your favorite?

-Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason
-What's Eating Gilbert Grape
-Amelie
-Breakfast at Tiffany's
-Ed Wood
-Being John Malkovich
