I am literally in tears. This is THE most underrated thing Jun has been in ever. We all know and love Jun as the romantic lead in dramas and movies but holy fuck he's got range. This SP filled my heart with joy and made me hopeful. Seriously, if you're a Jun fan you need to watch this SP, it is literally in the top 3 things Jun has been in in all time. It was part of a 24H TV thing so most people have not heard about it but the whole thing is on YouTube so pLLLEEAASSEEE WATCH IT IT IS TEARJERKING AND HEARTWRENCHING AND I JUST LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. IT IS SO DAMN EMOTIONALA ND I CAAANNNNOTOTTTT
If you have seen it, please PM me so we can talk about how amazing this SP is.
Spoiler alert from now on.
As soon as I realized this was a chronic illness movie, I was ready for Hayato to die in the end. Because let's be real, that's how most of these things go. What I did not expect was this emotional, hopeful feeling that is enough to lift you up and change your outlook on life - give you hope in friendship, love and life. It is a story about a man who has many flaws but tries his GODDAMN BEST to be there for his family. It is not what I was expecting from Jun's works, usually he does not deal with serious issues in his acting but HE KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK. The cinematography, the directing it was all amazing and I cannot. The side characters were well-developed and everything about it was 10/10. I cannot rave enough. This has to be my 2nd favourite work of Jun of all time (after Kimi Wa Petto)
Again, please watch it, it is literally so amazing and I cannot believe more people do not talk about it.
