So I have an appointment next tuesday at 11 am to see a gyno about IUD removal and inquiring about getting
Essure. I am hoping I won't encounter any Bingos, and that it won't be a problem what with me being single and childless. I am pretty much ready for whatever might come my way if I happen to get a doctor who doesn't understand me. I haven't encountered very many problems at all, I had an IUD now for 5 years and am 34 years old. Even if I wanted kids I do not believe in having them after 35 anyway, and I won't be getting into any relationships any time soon, and any guy who would want me to have kids with him wouldn't be the right guy for me.
I am looking forward to having the IUD taken out for the hope that it will reduce my cramps. I've enjoyed the freedom of my IUD and appreciated all it's done for me but now I just think I should let my poor uterus relax a bit. I get cramps during times I never did before, during ovulation even.
I hope it's not altered my cramps for good... if that is the case, so be it, I guess. I can't really do anything about that, I don't think.
I just really want to never have to worry about getting pregnant, no matter whether I end up with anybody or not. Just the very security of it and being able to shut people up when they bring up me having kids (not that that stops everybody, but at least it will prove a point and I won't have to worry about anyone trying to impregnate me if anything ever got that insane).
It's a bit intense being this much closer to the reality...
I really truly hope that the procedure does not hurt, as it isn't supposed to, but women who get this generally have had kids already and their cervix is a bit bigger. I have a very sensitive cervix, and anything that touches it sends me into intense pain.
Cripes, it's hot. I got to step away from the computer for a bit. This corner is all warm from the computer.
