It appears that cherry blossom season is in full swing, and to celebrate we went to go and visit Yoyogi park with some of Cory's friends for an alcohol based picnic. It was packed! Literally everyone had turned up to sit under falling cherry blossoms and enjoy the scene. Everyone was playing sport, cycling around, playing a strange wooden flute thing and eating eating eating. I tried a fish sausage and it was amazing!
We stayed here most of the day and i got the opportunity to meet some of Cory's friends. They all seem rather nice, especially a half Japanese-Peruvian girl called Saori. (must try harder!) The celbrations continued well into the night, but i was getting kinda bored and persuaded Cory to go along to Harajuku. On the way we walked past a few random things. A techno-painter: someone painting a lovely watercolour picture whilst dancing enthusiastically to funky house / snoop diggety dogg music.... a one-man band. Some shite bands etc...
Harajuku itself was pretty unimpressive...
but apparently we have to set off now so i will tell you about this later
