Packing...
Wow, I am sooo bad at packing ^^;. I just keep procrastinating (like right now, actually, although I am ripping CDs to my laptop, which I still count as preparation). The day before I leave will be spent desperately flinging things into suitcases, which I can only take two of. Packing everything I'll need for the next four months into two suitcases is pretty daunting- I'm planning to take an air mattress with me, and I still have no idea where I'm going to put that. I'm pretty good at getting by with not a lot of tuff, though, so I'm sure I'll manage somehow. I've started to accumulate far too much stuff lately, anyway, and most of it I can easily live without. I do wish I could find a way to get some of my old textbooks out there too, but they're so heavy I don't think I can carry them in my suitcases.
The prospect of how much this is going to cost is pretty daunting too T__T. I can't get near enough money in student loans to cover my whole degree, so I'm going to be in a pretty big financial hole when I finish ;__;. I'm going to have to look for some very lucrative summer jobs and big scholarships in the next few years! Going back to my old vet clinic over Christmas is starting to seem more and more likely >__<. At least I've always got that as a stand-by, though I'm hoping to find something else this summer (something that maybe pays decent money?).
I'm super excited about starting class, but I'm going to have an odd first week, as I might not be able to move into my apartment, so I won't really be able to get settled. I'm sure I'll enjoy myself anyway, though ^^.
On a totally random note: Adam West, you are the only batman that rivals the new Christian Bale movies ^___^. I watched the old Adam West movie last night: "Holy heart-failure Batman!" = MADE OF WIN
