Good news!
After a long, long hiatus, I finally wrote a few more parts to The Last Dragon Thief! This is good news for me, because I really wrote nothing in it for a very long time. Working on other projects and trying to get something original off the ground. But now I've done a little work in it, I feel better!
There are only two Episodes left to write: Elves, and Dragons. While I conclude that neither is as long as 'Clock' -- since they're not written, I'm not exactly sure. I wager only a third of the book is left to write! Surely I can do that, right?
And, as far as I know, it'll be up on the journal forever, so anyone who hasn't read the recent parts yet can do so 'next week, next year, some year' - to borrow phrasing from Stephen Sondheim.
I made a new banner, too. Because I was bored, and because this clipart reminded me so much of TLDT. The dragon wasn't originally blue, but I coloured her to resemble Deppa. She really, really looks like Deppa! Even with the little ears!
Additionally, I do mean to finish Tempest's Window. It wasn't meant to be very long. If I just concentrate on it, I'm sure I can get it done in a couple of days. It turned out to be more of a 'dappling' piece than I wanted!
