Doggie Drama
So we are now Labrador-less. I drove Cassie to Tularosa, NM yesterday. We never really found a home for her, but there's this wonderful angel of a lady who runs a Labrador rescue who was willing to take her and rehome her for us.
I've joked for years about giving Cassie away or turning her into a rug or something, but I never really thought we'd have to do it. It's one of the very few unfortunate things about quitting the house. Still, I think ultimately it was the best thing to do. I'm just so used to being on the other side of rescues and adoptions that this was difficult.
