Apropriate picture.
I know it's been ages since I wrote anything down here or even visited my preferred forum "Land of Lesbian lit".
But some serious things have been happening to my life and I sought relief in my favourite escape, comics and cartoons, as some of you might have noticed.
Lets go the the most recent event:
This morning at 10h05 sublieutenant Tadeusz Jakiemów passed peacefully away. After a year's long struggle against stomach cancer he finally gave up.
He was a great father! He never ever used violence against his children! But he was in command, you didn't go against his will, firm, loving and leading.
He also was a great soldier. He didn't brag about it, but he was proud to be a knight of the Virtuti Militari (as he should be). He was knighted for rescuing a Canadian soldier where the red cross had told him (after he had rescued his lieutenant) "if you feel suicidal you're free to rescue him".
And I'm damn proud he happened to be my Dad! So is my wife and to my children he was a beloved grand granddad.
The 10th November at 09h55 Johanna Van Nerom passed away peacefully. Her death bed was short and soft. She was a great grandmother to my children and an exemplary mother in law. She will be remembered lovingly.
My new job is great, but very time consuming (even at home!). So I apologize to all my on-line friends I've been neglecting. You're still my friends and I'll take the threads I wove back up again. Sandrine, Cat and Kim, and evrey Matt, Mela, ... or Xada I overlooked I'm still your friend!
