Project Runway
OK so I will watch Top Model and I give Tyra her props its an ok show but I can and do miss it all the time. I have never gotten so into it that I've seen most of the seasons shows. I also am not in favor of every model or super model getting some kind of reality show - that would be bad, very bad. That being said I have been really looking forward to the new show project runway. Its the wanna be designer in me itching to see whats was what.
First weeks challenge was to make couture evening wear with things you can buy in a grocery store. You get fifty bucks to spend. OK already I am like I would ne eliminated right now, the grocery store. It was amazing how freaking creative some of these designers were. I was impressed and despite an huge oversight the person I thought did the best won. So I am looking forward to see how this unfolds. I am already impressed with the shows honesty - the shows disclaimer said the judges not only based decisions on the score but on the entertainment contribution to the show. So uh drama queens with no talent can stay until the end so people will watch.
I start my dressmaking class soon. I'm so very excited.
