Boys Toys
Haven't posted in ages, so I though I may as well take a chance to mention (i.e brag) about my computer revitalisation.
Finally gave my computer a well deserved upgrade from it's ye old single processor to one of the dual ones. For those that are interested, my system is now the following:
Core2 Duo E8200 CPU
2GB DDR2 800MHz RAM
ASUS 8800GT 512MB graphics card
ASUS P5KC motherboard
A total of 900GB storage space (250GB new)
Haven't given it a proper stress test yet, but for the the two games that didn't break with the windows reinstall (WoW and CnC Generals), I could quite easily crank it up to full graphics with no slowdown.
Now I just need to get everything back to the way I like it, installed program wise. \0/
(P.S Someone should fire whoever designed the Intel heatsinks, soft plastic for heatsink clips is bad, mkay).
