As David Blaine emerged from his Perspex box at the end of his 44-day starvation stunt, Blue have been offering their insights into his ordeal. Duncan and Lee have differing opinions on what the stunt was all about.
Duncan reckons, "I think it goes to show that if you put your mind to it you can achieve so much." And added that "He must smell, 'cause he hasn't had a bath or washed for 44 days." While Lee has a slightly obscurer view point: "I think he's an alien! Sorry I've gotta say this, I know I've got a thing about aliens, but I think he's an alien."
When his band mate reminded him of his oft quoted desire to make love to an alien, Lee's adamant response was another classic: "I ain't making love to him!"
Lee, I certainly hope you aren't doing that. Otherwise you'll smell too bad and that isn't good for us at the rehearsals.
