Maeve stares at the rope, then looks back up at the woman. "You... You don't need to do that," she says. "I... I w-won't r-run."
She can't stop her voice from trembling still.
{He really does. Like there's a difference between being a dumb teenager and being a jerk, and he crossed it a long time ago. :| }

She pauses and sighs deeply.
If nothing else, she might be able to sell off the girl if she becomes too much of a burden.
Isra returns and surveys the scene before her, although the girl doesn't appear to have moved at all. She kneels down a couple of feet away, arranges the wood on the ground and takes a deep breath. Her hands light on fire, eating away at the wood until it catches.
She grabs her bag and pulls out a package of dried, salty meat wrapped in thick paper.

She reaches up to try and fish it out of her pockets, but then she searches there's nothing there. It must have dropped out at some point.
Hungry, tired, and scared, she scoots back against a tree and curls up on the ground, closing her eyes as she prays for sleep to take her away.

She watches the girl sleeping restlessly on the other side of the fire, lost in thought.
When she goes to sleep, she does so lightly and never fully sinks into loss of consciousness.
(Teen Wolf is such a guilty pleasure TV series for me *cough*)

She sees the jerky from last night sticking out of her captor's bag, and licks her lips. She wonders, for a moment, if she might be able to just steal a small piece.
{I've never seen it. What's it about?}

She gets up and swiftly kneels down in front of her prisoner, grabs her hands none too gently and loosens the rope enough to get some circulation back into her wrists.
(Precisely what it sounds like. A teenager who becomes a werewolf and all the troubles that entails. XD. High school romance, packs, alphas, rivalry, yadda yadda yadda.)

"Could I... Could I have something to e-eat?" she whispers.
{Fun. :D Sorry about the half finished comment before, I pressed enter by mistake.}

"Waste none," she warns with a hiss and shoves the food into her prisoner's hands.
(XD. That's okay!)

She eats slowly, used to having to make her food last. It isn't much, but it's better than bread and it's not overly rotten; she hasn't something this good to eat in ages.

Restless and eager to get on with her search, Isra gets up on her feet and hoists the bag onto her shoulder.
She doesn't trust her prisoner not to run off, but neither does she want to drag her along into town. In hasty decision she lifts the tip of her tail to her mouth, blows on it, lighting it on fire with beautiful, golden, deep red flames. She stops in front of the girl, puts the burning tailtip to the ground and draws a circle around her.
Flames rise from the ground and surround her, trapping her in a circle wide enough to move and stretch in, but little more.
"I will continue my search," she says.
(Calm down! Write a list :3)

(Sounds good! I think I'll eat some ice cream and go to bed. I need to stop sketching. XD. When does the flight leave? I figure that Isra discovers the amulet had left the city so they need to get on the road. Travel bonding (not so much) :P)
