Alejandro and Jaspre
He wakes early in the morning, slipping out of Jaspre's hold quietly so that he can make sure everything will be perfect for the day. He slips into some clothes quickly and then leaves, going to Rainier's caravan and knocking.
When the man answers, he is smiling. "Eveything is on schedule," he says. "We should be in Salem by nine." They have been moving without stopping the last few days to get to the town in time, and it has taken a slight toll, but Salem is in the New World, and the shows always last longer there because the audience is more than receptive.
Alejandro beams. "Perfect," he says. "Thank you so much for this."
Rainier grins. "If it'll get him to finally stop pining, it'll be worth it."
Alejandro laughs, and then bids him goodbye to slip back into bed before Jaspre wakes so he won't think anything is amiss.
