The Alternate Twilight Movie
I've just created the sickest and most life-sucking picspam i've ever done... but I just had to. For a few years now we (dream teamers) always wished Dream Team (Gaspard Ulliel and Emily Browning) would star in the Twilight movies. Since we know that's obviously never gonna happen.. I thought why not make a picspam of what the DT Twilight movie would look like? And a few days of brain twisting, desperation, verge of abandoning the project, crying desperately for more screencaps later, came this picspam!
Okay. Let me get this out loud and clear: If you do not like Dream Team, try to have an open mind about this. It's just an alternate movie more like I imagined when reading the books. So PLEASE view this picspam with an open mind. Remember that before Robert and Kristen made the movies there was a fanbase who loved the books and had to imagine everything from scratch. This picspam is for all of those who imagined Twilight in their own way. So if you're here just to bash dream team or say "ewwww wtf Emily/Gaspard look NOTHING like Bella/Edward" then you are more than welcome to click the X button @ the top right corner of your screen. ;)

The Alternate Twilight Movie

Chapters: Preface. First Sight. Open Book.
*For some reason I chose Focus Features for this movie series. I happen to like alot of their movies so by default they win the deal.
1st row: "I'd never given much thought to how I would die.."
2nd row: Arriving at Forks.
3rd row: Forks High School and seeing Edward in the cafeteria for the first time.
4th row: First class together, Edward's rejection.
5th row: "I tried not to think about him, but I couldn't totally suppress the worry that I was responsible for his continued absence, ridiculous as it seemed."
6th row: "Hello," said a quiet, musical voice. "My name is Edward Cullen".
Chapters: Phenomenon. Blood Type. Scary Stories. Nightmare.
1st row: Car crash (part 1)
2nd row: Car crash (part 2). + "That was the first night I dreamed of Edward Cullen."
3rd row: "You know Debussy?" - Driving Bella home after the fingerprick fainting.
4th row: "Do you like scary stories?" Jacob asked ominously.
5th row: Stregoni benefici + Nightmares of wolves & vampires.
Chapters: Port Angeles. Theory. Interrogations. Complications.
1st row: Port Angeles.
2nd row: "Do I dazzle you?". Edward takes Bella to dinner.
3rd row: Edward admits he's a vampire. + "About three things I was absolutely positive"
4th row: Edward picks up Bella for school for the first time.
5th row: "The silver car was already there" + "It's twilight," Edward murmured.
*WHY IN THE WORLD couldn't they fit the whole twilight reference into the movies is beyond me. It would have been beautiful! ='( The twilight references in the book are some of my favorite quotes from the saga. Arrrgh.
Chapters: Confessions. Mind Over Matter.
1st row: "Edward in the sunlight was shocking"
2nd row: "It's too easy to be myself with you." + Listening to my heart.
3rd row: "I don't know how long we sat without moving"
4th row: First piggy back ride + First kiss. *OMG HELLO ACCURACY
5th row: First night together - "Just because I'm resisting the wine doesn't mean I can't appreciate the bouquet," he whispered.
Chapters: The Cullens. The Game. The Hunt. Impatience. Phonecall.
1st row: "Your hair looks like a haystack… but I like it." His unruffled voice came from the rocking chair in the corner. + Visiting the Cullens house.
2nd row: "You inspired this one," he said softly. The music grew unbearably sweet.
*Listen to (Dream Team) Bella's Lullaby: ♫♫ River Flows In You. <3 Now THAT'S a touching lullaby I can see Edward composing for Bella.
3rd row: Baseball and the "visitors" arrive.
4th row: "You brought a snack?"
5th row: Driving away + The Hotel ("It's like you've taken half my self away with you.")
6th row: "Could you believe that, despite everything I've put you through, I love you, too?" + James calls + Arriving infront of the Ballet Studio
Chapters: Hide-And-Seek. The Angel. An Impasse.
1st/2nd/3rd row: Pretty self explanatory. Epic ballet studio fight scene.
4th row: "The angel shouldn't weep, it was wrong." + Edward bites Bella.
5th row: "Floating, all the pain gone". Flashbacks/Near death experience sort of thing.
*Background song for ^this scene: ♪♪ You Are The Moon, by Hush Sound
6th row: Hospital scene.
Chapter: Epilogue | An Occasion.
1st row: Ready for prom. Dancing together.
*I based the "Bella all pretty and dressed up for an occasion and Edward staring at her" from the prom remix (alternate) scene on Stephenie Meyer's website. Some moments are adorable and I fell in love with the line: "Just when I convince myself that you're actually real, you show up looking like this and i'm afraid i'm dreaming again" <3
*My personal choice for Bella and Edward's prom dance: ♪♪ Dancing, by Elisa
2nd row: Jacob comes to "warn" her.
3rd row: "So ready for this to be the end," he murmured, almost to himself, "for this to be the twilight of your life, though your life has barely started. You're ready to give up everything."
4th row: "And he leaned down to press his cold lips once more to my throat." THE END. Credits roll.
*my choice of music for the Twilight credits: ♪♪ Just For Tonight, by Ville Valo & Manna
I tried fitting as many E/B scenes from the book and stay as accurate as possible - of course you can't fit everything in (sometimes I couldn't find the right screencaps unfortunately) but I hope I somehow done it justice xD
I used screencaps from: The existing Twilight movie (obviously), a shitload of Emily Browning screencaps from 'The Uninvited' and a few other of her movies, various Gaspard movies screencaps (a big thanks to Gaspard Ulliel Online) and I struggled to find some random movies screencaps that fit with what I had in mind for scenery and other stuff. <3 Exhausting work but FUN AS HELL! If this one ends up being a success, I might try making a New Moon one ;) I have to admit making this picspam made me sad/mad at moments because it only reminded me how much potential the movie HAD. How MUCH MORE it could have been. ='(
