The end of T-B.com ? Message for my Titanic-friends

A post for all my T-B friends.
I woke up this morning only to find out that www.Titanic-Boards.com has died! dead - capout! The phpbber server hasn't been working ALL DAY. I tried and tried and tried. Nothing. I went on PHPbb trying to get help but they're not associated with phpbber.com .. they told me that they can't help at all. They also said that many free sites like phpbber disappear and never come back.
I am honestly very very worried and I have a gigantic bad feeling. In my head, there's 8/10 chances that the server has closed-down and its never coming back. If that happens, www.titanic-boards.com is dead. Not a shot in hell we're getting it back and all the efforts we put into that forum will be LOST.
Starting from scratch is scaring me abit, but not having a Titanic forum would kill me! I will wait a couple of days, and if we get some news from phpbber and know that the forum is never coming back, i'll open my own Titanic forum (with the help of everyone who was working with me on the old one IF they still want to work with me).
I seriously hope i'm wrong and T-B will be up in less than 48 hours, but I don't have too much hope. Thank God a good few of the active members are on LJ so we can still keep in touch. If I ever get to open a new forum I WILL let everyone know by posting a message here.

[EDIT] : Oh god, almost good news! I went on the www.phpbber.com site and this is the message they wrote for us :
Our database servers crashed. We are in the process of restoring using our daily back-up. Estimated to be completed by 08:00 AM GMT 14th November 2006.
For urgent matters, please contact us using AIM at handle name civ0com
So after all, the forum MIGHT be coming back. YAY!!!! =D
[EDIT 2] : GOOD NEWS!! The forum's back! Everything's back to normal. Wohoo!
