Two x 2 hour session with Mara Windstar focused on loosening things up - me letting go of expectations and the pressure to produce results, Yepa having fun and building motivation.
In these sessions we experimented with various straining tools, and strategies to help Yepa to be more forceful in her interaction with objects, and more energetic in her responses. We did this with a lot of short sessions and lots of play with different toys. By the end of these sessions she was pushing harder with her nose, striking harder with her front paws, picking up toys more enthusiastically and bringing them to me sometimes. See you tube videos:

Paw:
Yepa was able to respond correctly to the verbal/visual cue Paw several times from a Sit, and several times from Down.
She also hit a square plastic object with a paw on cue - first time she has done this!!
