"My nose is a turkey baster."
On Tuesday, I wrote a trigonometry quiz, on which I thought I did terribly, because it's been quite some time since I've done math. Turns out I got 17 out of 20. It would have been better, but I somehow subtracted 104 from 120 and got -4. Fortunately it's only worth 2% of my mark, and our worst quiz gets thrown out, so I have plenty of time to improve.
This afternoon I have problem solving and design, our team (ARCO) hasn't done any of the work we need to have done, and I'm sitting around waiting for damned Romanians to show up. There were four positions to choose from in the team: Leader, Recorder, Speaker and Encourager. I chose encourager, so that my role on the team is to say things such as "Good Work!" or "Hot Dog!" or "You have a friend!" (we have a list of suggested encouragement phrases).
