The refugee petition went live today.

Just as I was heading out to my bus I got an email from Parliament that House of Commons petition e-800, asking the government of Canada to revoke the "safe third country" status of the United States so that we may accept refugees they have refused entry to, is now live and available to the public for review and signature.

Thank you to everyone who supported the petition and helped get this before a sponsoring MP. To those who have not yet signed, please consider doing so to help those who have been cruelly denied what many had just been granted.

-- Steve's gratified it's moving so quickly. Again, thank you
