The Toronto Star just posted an article titled Airline pilot has nowhere to escape from wireless radiation.
*Facepalm*
I suppose the intent was to air the grievance the pilot in question had against cell phone towers in her neighbourhood, but really... a pilot "sensitive" to EMR should really find a different line of work, because air traffic control radar is far more powerful an emitter of EMR than a cell phone tower. Air-to-ground radio is right up there, too, plus all the sidelobes from on-board radar and electrical devices.
-- Steve is far from convinced that EMS has anything to do with the emission of electromagnetic energy, given that "we've been soaking in it" since at least the advent of AM radio a hundred years ago.
