to foodblog or not to foodblog, that is the question

It's no secret I'm a sporadic blogger -- heck, just a quick click on the "archive" button will tell you that. So I have a slight dilemma. As I posted close to the beginning of the year, I'm doing once-a-week menu planning (and enjoying it! Me, Joe Disorganized!). So what's my dilemma? I don't have a food blog, although I've considered one often over the last 3 or so years. Without a food blog, I'm stuck posting my menu plan in my regular blog, if I want to post it online. Which I do :) But in this season of "lite" blogging for me, my blog will then become all menu plan, all the time! I really don't want to do that, nor is it my plan (ha! see what I did there?). But if the last thing posted in my blog is the previous week's menu plan and it's Saturday, I'm still going to post the new week's plan just so it's posted. And I'm sorry if it looks like that's all I'm posting, but I know I will return to regular blogging again soon.

And while I'm talking about it, let me just report that doing a menu plan -- even for just 2 people -- saves money and time and also cuts down on crabby. I may blog a bit more about that in the future. Suffice to say that it's a good thing. Really. I'm a convert.

So here's the Menu Plan for this week, with notes that might only make sense to me.

Sunday
Sides only/Neighbor is smoking the proteins for Football
Monday
Scotty's Birthday Family Dinner Night
Soft shell tacos
Tuesday

Wednesday
Taco salad w/ previous leftovers (add frozen bean soup to meat) (what? I never blogged about the time I inadvertently made like 32 gallons of bean soup? Yeah.)
Thursday
Garlic Lime Chicken
Friday
Leftovers
Saturday
Super Veggie/Tofu Stir Fry (loosely based on Tyler Florence's Fried Rice w/ Peas & Carrots)
