It's not a resolution, 'cause I'm allergic to those

I do, however, like the ideas of:
  • Eating seasonally, locally, and on-salely foods
  • Making less trips to the grocery store
  • Saving money
  • Eating more healthily
  • Using what's already in my fridge/pantry instead of throwing it away when it goes bad and buying more
  • Knowing what's on hand and available for lunches
  • Knowing what I'm having for dinner at 5:00 instead of freaking out because I have nothing planned and nothing thawed
  • Lists. I just like lists.
What does that all equal? A Menu Plan! I'm going to join my ChiveTalkin friend's Menu Planning Challenge and see what happens.

So here's the Menu Plan for the week coming up, with notes that might only make sense to me. As the weeks go on and I get more fancy, I might even add recipes... (I know; crazy talk!)

Vegetable Chowder (leftover celery, carrots, potatoes from Christmas)

Leftovers (the beauty of there being only two of us!)

Greenleaf/Romaine/craisin/feta salad

Friday
Garlic Lime Chicken
