Poor Johnnie! As miserable as I was, I can't imagine ever having it again (and yes, I'm now paranoid around people with colds!). I didn't even know there was a pneumonia shot until about a month ago!

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better.

Pneumonia is awful, but it sounds like you've been well looked after.

I'm hoping that as I've just been for my swine flu jab, this sort of nasty will pass me by... with my crocked immune system, it wouldn't be fun!

It really is miserable, isn't it? And you did get the short end of the stick! There were a few times I wondered if that might happen, but perhaps not leaving the house at all was, for me, the best solution to that particular problem!

I'm so happy to hear that you're on the mend. I knew you had a terrific husband but he's even better sounding now! :)

Reading your list of symptoms made me flash back to when I used to get bronchitis every winter. A lot of the symptoms are the same. I've never had pneumonia and I hope I never get it.

It's funny to me that I had bronchitis two winters in a row in high school, and it really was nothing even close to this. At least, not that I can remember. I mean, the coughing sounded horrible, sure -- but I never remember feeling this weak and miserable. Glad it's behind me, and I hope you never get it too!
