Cody and Edyta start with a Foxtrot. It's charming and lovely. He looks more comfortable, and actually grownup and debonaire. Footwork was good. Really good!

And here come Brooke and Derek, where Derek picked a deeper spray tan shade than ever before (my guess is it's prep for the Latin dance). This should be an impressive Tango. She's also the last female standing! I'm not sure what's going on with her wearing a black belt around her waist, under the dress! Weird. But this Tango is amazing. They look like a movie couple. I've always felt the Tango was done best if it was just a tiny bit weird. They've got that weirdness! This wasn't my favorite choregraphy, I have to say, but it was good. Eep! Derek's also growing some facial hair I don't like.

Up next are Maurice and Cheryl doing a Quick Step. This should be good. This is his best ballroom so far. He's a little stiff with the arm that's not around Cheryl, but it's pretty good. He's got the footwork down, and it looked fun (one of the key components of the QS, IMO). After last week, I thought he might be next off, but this dance was great! I think Bruno just pronounced "aplomb" as "a plum"! tee hee!

Lance and Lacey are up to dance a Foxtrot. They don't want to stand out any more, and want to put in traditional steps. They really just want to please Len. Cute start. It's weird that Lance is one of my favorites and Lacey is one of my least, but I do like that she's a little curvier than the other girls on the show. This is a charming dance -- a lighthearted Foxtrot that was really fun to watch. Maybe a little less substance than some of the other dances, but nice!

Last to dance in the ballroom round are Warren and Kym, doing the Tango. He's approaching these two dances "like a playoff situation". I heart him! He's doing a great job on this! He looks smooth and his footwork is right on. Poor Kym -- her dress caught on her heel, but like the pro she is, she kept going and got rid of it. Nice job -- high energy, great dance.

Now Cody and Edyta dance the Mambo. Nice beginning on this one too. He's got the hips down, and whoa! Nice split leap off the stage! I'm impressed with his ability to remember the steps. WOW! his solo was a little white-man's-overbite, but ended with a giant leap onto the judges' table! Impressive! That wasn't what I expected out of the their dance, but it was good. Samantha is just the WEIRDEST person ever. She says the awkwardest things EVAH.

Brooke and Derek are up to dance a Mambo, and Brooke looks like Cheryl Burke. This is a great dance for her, although she might be a teeny bit pigeon-toed, which I've never noticed before. She definitely feels comfortable with this dance -- it's fun to see, and her wig is made of awesome. GREAT dance. I smell 10s.

Dancing the Paso Doble are Maurice and Cheryl. Cool! His solo is mostly cape-based, and it's impressive. This is a great dance for him, and wow! Dramatic ending. Cheryl is brave to be willing to go for a full-on drop!

Sambaing next are Lance and Lacey. Is it wrong that their outfits are boring me and taking away from the dance? He has the footwork down, except for one tiny little mistake -- they had some sort of problem over on the edge of the dance floor. I just didn't much like it. It was kind of "meh".

Warren and Kym are last up in the Latin round. In his rehearsal week, he made a funny comment about watching a 300 lb. man doing the jive, but I gotta say this is fab! The end of his solo was darling, too. Kym is doing a fabulous job choreographing for the big man this season, I gotta say. That was just great. Great!

Oh, and I just feel like I have to say that I really dislike how there seems to be an overabundance of microphones stabbing into bosoms this season. Phew! Now I've gotten that off my chest ... as it were :)

Predictie McLeaverson says if it was strictly based on tonight's dances, we'd be sending Cody or Lance home. Since Predictie knows how fickle the fans are, she suspects Maurice probably danced his last dance tonight.
