First, in the spirit of the season, there's this blog. I may have gotten the link for this from bookczuk. I'm not sure, but the "Cavalcade of Bad Nativities" has provided hours of entertainment.
Second, there's this. File it under eeee-UW. And even if you don't watch it (or the follow-up video linked in the text below that video), take my word for it as someone who cares for you, and never ever ever drink from another hotel glass again. Evah. I mean it.
And because I like words, I find myself in need of using the phrase "his somnambulant glory" today. I have no idea why. It's just in my head. And no, it's not dirty.
And something that made me smile
I actually made the exchange boys laugh this morning, which is no small feat. They were trying to explain to me why something wasn't working, and that it was update timing thingy (a technical term if I ever saw one). Luis, who I heart, said that sometimes this (the Bad Thing) just happens, and you can hit a different name server on each request made. I said, "Sure - you can give your technical reasons. And you can believe them, too. I, however, know it’s because today was an especially crappy morning following an especially crappy day yesterday and I got up early to do lots of [stuff] that should have gone out already but haven’t yet and the Exchange Server Gods are conspiring against me. But if you want to think it’s about slow servers, that’s ok with me."
I got a "ROTFLOL" for that :)
