[Now that that Malnosso-induced nonsense is over, Mewtwo's handwriting appears in the journals again...]
In my world, there are beings known as guardians. Some protect a place from harm, whether it is a single location or a whole homeland. Some are sworn to guard a group of people that are kind and loyal to it, or watch over the Pokemon that are children of its land or power, or be a partner to a particular hero that does good in the world. Some are born into such a role, and are called Legendary for their primal might and their place in stories told by humans and Pokemon. Others are ordinary beings that have become known through their deeds.
My world cannot be the only one with beings like this. Here in Luceti, people talk of Moro, and in these stories she seems very much like a Legendary even though she is not a Pokemon.
I would like to hear about beings like this from any world, and why they are guardians. It is a subject that is close to me.
If you cannot think of a being that could be called a guardian, then I would like to hear the story of a legendary figure, and how it is that they became well-known without being a guardian.
[a pause.]
Thank you.
