[It's still kind of uncomfortable for Luke to write. So when he sees that familiar writing, he doesn't go for the written function to make it easier for Mewtwo like he normally would. Instead, he speaks, because he recognizes that voice and he knows Mewtwo was kidnapped and the way he's writing doesn't look good.]

Mewtwo? Are you okay? Where are you?

[Later in the day, when he's sitting down and taking a look at his journal and not freaking out so much...]

Returned from Malnosso. Road into plaza.

[Still clumsy handwriting, but not in the frantic way that his post had been.]

[With that message, Luke isn't sure if Mewtwo has been found or not. So, he's already standing up and pulling on his jacket - his voice shifts, as if his back's turned to the journal.]

[Seeing how it's written, it takes a full minute or two for Luke to see it as he finishes buttoning up that jacket and pulls on his shoes. And by the time he does...]

Luke pauses for a second... before he heads out. Was Mewtwo really okay? He's still pretty sure he doesn't seem like it. So, he'll hurry anyway.]

[When Mewtwo said he was on the road into the plaza, what he really meant was that he was lurking in the space between houses beside the road to the plaza, sitting just out of view from someone walking up the road.

When he peers out and spots the familiar blob of red hair, he hesitates before calling out in a raspy voice.]

Luke.

[That was quieter than he wanted it to be. Louder now:]

[At first, Luke didn't hear the voice. He was looking up and down the road, walking slowly to see if he's missing him somewhere. Really, how hard can it be to miss a huge white cat thing that's a full head and shoulders taller than he is?

But then he does hear the voice. And he doesn't hear it in his head, which makes him blink and frown, even though there is some recognition in that voice. That... almost sounded like...

He turns his head towards that voice, and... he thinks he sees a shape between the two houses, and it prompts him to walk closer.]

... Mewtwo? [Something seems... off about the shape, though.]
