Oh Livejournal, how I miss you.
Recent addictions include (but are not limited to):
Guitar Hero 2
Beer
Skipping class
All three of those things are potentially hazardous to my health and well-being (you'd understand if you've seen me play Guitar Hero). Skipping class is bad. Actually, I've had legitimate reason to skip, since I got sick last week (though, in retrospect I think it was just allergy and sinus-related problems). One of my prof's e-mailed me, basically threatening to fail me if I missed class again. Oh, but you all shall get a kick out of this:
The whole reason I missed class is because my prof has LUPUS.
So, instead of coming to class with what I thought might be strep throat, (as I had white dots in the back of my throat and my tonsils were the size of golf balls) I skipped 2 days last week to get better and so I didn't get her sick. So, basically, I've decided that I can't miss any more of those classes even if I get some sort of ultra-death illness like smallpox-plague-scarlet fever combo. (Pfff, I'd pwn those illnesses!)
I realize that it's been an awful long time - it seems like it's harder to update after such a big break because you don't know what events to include in your entry and what ones to leave out. So, I'll just pretend like I've been updating this regularly and tell you about the past couple of days.
I went and picked up Ashley and Allison from the absolutely rockin' town of Howell (that was exaggeration, though they do have a balloon festival, which Ashley thought meant balloons of the rubber kind...when in actuality the balloon festival involves balloons of the hot-air persuasion). Nevertheless, the Howell trip was fun, but they had to be picked up because Ashley's water pump in her Saturn broke. I'm not sure if you remember when my water pump broke, but it was not fun times to say the least (as in, it took me 8 hours in the rain to fix it with my boss, and the water pump is a part that takes a grand total of 6 screws to replace). She got quoted $300 which is a ton, but since the car isn't anywhere around that can be worked on, she'll probably have to just get it done there.
Anywho, other than that, no real news. I'm 'getting by' in all of my classes, and what I mean by that is 'barely.' I better not lose my 3.0 gpa or I will be a sad panda.
