Yet another busy Summer weekend...
Friday night we ventured out to see "Mamma Mia!" This movie was great, for all of the wrong reasons. I won't give anything away, except to say that there are so many hilarious moments in this movie that it is destined to become a cult classic. In short, it's like watching your parents do Summer Stock theater.
Saturday was filled with errands and culminating in Todd and Dennis' housewarming party. It was fun seeing some of my friends that I haven't seen in a while but Jesse's shirt was the hit of the evening. He got several compliments on it and all well-deserved. He has good taste. The rest of evening back home was incredibly chill, which is just what we needed.
Sunday, we went to see "The Dark Knight" with some friends and it was quite good. Later in the evening, we capped off our weekend with some yummy home-made Indian food made by our friends Ben and Adam. We were saddened to learn that they will be moving to SFO, but it's for Adam's degree and we now have a place to stay when we're in town.
Despite the fast-paced weekend, it served as a good reminder that I have wonderful friends and a fantastic boyfriend.
